Q: Will the chair and base arrive at the same time?

• Not necessarily. Your chair and base may ship from different locations, so you'll receive two separate tracking numbers. Both are on their way — they may just arrive a day or two apart.

Q: Does installing the wood base change how the chair works?

• Not at all. The Kiwi's glide, recline, and swivel work exactly the same. The wood base is a visual upgrade only — same comfort, new look.

Q: Is assembly hard?

• Assemble your new base in just a few minutes. The trick: keep your chair in the box and flip it upside down before you start. From there, it's just a few bolts and you're done. All tools and hardware are included, plus extra bolts in case one gets away from you.

Q: Can I upgrade a Kiwi I already own?

• Yes, as long as your current Kiwi has a black or gold metal base. If you're not sure, our customer service team can help confirm compatibility.

Q: What if I want to swap from one wood finish to another?

• The upgrade is a one-way swap from metal to wood. Switching between wood finishes (light to dark or vice versa) isn't available through this program.

Q: What's the return window?

• The wood base follows our standard 30-day return policy. If you have questions about a return after assembly, reach out to our CS team and we'll work through it.

Q: Is the base covered under warranty?

• Yes — the wood base comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty. If you ever have an issue, submit a claim using your base's item number from your order confirmation.

Q: What do I do with my old metal base?

• You're welcome to recycle or dispose of the metal base locally. We don't offer a trade-in at this time.
