All-Stages® Midi Crib Conversion Kit

When my husband rubbed the bolt in the side of the crib facing the baby to make sure it was safe for the baby, he got a metal splinter from it. When he disassembled the midi, he got metal on his hands from it. Because we were concerned about the crib's safety, we returned it. Without the midi crib, we could not use the midi mattress that we purchased from Babyletto because it was made specifically for the Babyletto midi crib. However, when we tried returning the midi mattress that was designed for the Babyletto midi crib, despite explaining the safety concern, Babyletto customer service did not allow us to return it. I tried submitting a return form from the Babyletto website WITHIN the 30-day return window, but apparently it did not go through, because when I followed up with Babyletto after not hearing back for weeks after submitting the form, they stated that we could not return the mattress because it was "outside our 30-day return window" from when I followed up (NOT from when I initially submitted the for, which was within the 30-day return window). So disappointed in the crib and the customer service. I was so excited about the crib and the mattress, but after this experience, I would not recommend Babyletto.
